Traveller PBX650J History?

New to the forum and just swapping my saloon for this traveller.

It has chassis number MAVS1288897 (though suspect it's W5) registered on 17 Jun 1971. I have the V5 with previous owners and the data from DVLA on history and MOT... And that's it! Adderley Park build so no heritage history. It was restored in 17/18 by previous owner when it changed from blue to maroon, new wood. Recon engine and gearbox etc.

Anything out there on previous owners or anything else? I've contacted MMOC who have no knowledge of the car.

Thanks
Alun

Hi Alun

First port of call would be Camarthen Records Office - should have original keepers details.

I only list vehicle details/numbers/colour thereof, wouldn't have any info on who owns it...

Not much help, think DVLA no longer do their history print-out thingy.

Can do an ID check on it - matching units - if you supply numbers.

Thanks for this and I'll certainly contact Carmarthen Records. My chassis number reads MAVS1288897. Do you have any info from this at all? Is there anything else on the car I should be looking for? The engine isn't original.
