I wonder how successful these rings were. I can’t find a supplier today, maybe rebore companies bought them out

I have not heard of these either. I fitted a set of CORD piston rings during a refurb of my Traveller's engine about 30 years age.

I was trying to remember CORD piston rings Kenny, until I scrolled down to your post. I do remember Trancosteel.
I fitted a set of CORD rings to an Austin A55's engine when it was part refurbished without having a rebore. Bottom end noise prompted a crankshaft regrind.
