Seat cover templates ?

Hi!
I made seat covers in the past that was pretty ok so I thought I might give it a shot with the minor also (the later ones, 56 and forward I think it is all have the same), reason being the vinly/leather seat covers get crazy hot if car is left in the sun, so I thought I would give it a try with some furniture fabric instead, problem is I do not want to destroy the original ones, they are worn but have no holes or anything, and it's not really possible to make templates for the pieces without taking the seat covers of, remove the stitches and flatten them out.

I know it's far fecthed but thought I would ask anyway, is it possible to find templates for the seat covers anywhere, sometimes they are available for older cars ?

Or does anyone know of any place I could get fabric seat covers, I have only found vinly/leather so far (I mean seat covers for the minor, no universal stuff).
