Morris Minor Owners Club

The drum is 8" dia inside. The shoos are rod operated. Currently fitted to a trailer.

They are not Morris Minor rear brakes. The rear brakes on a Morris Minor are 7" dia.

Someone has suggested they might be Minor front brakes shoes, with a rod operated backplate mechanism. Its new shoes I need.

Try Powertrack Brakes Ltd of Ascot. They may be able to help you identify your set-up and supply replacement parts.

They would if from a 1098 cc motor.

Either seek professional advice as Stephen suggested, or you could try comparing your photos with the images of retailers.
They certainly bear a resemblance to Minor Shoes, but nobody here is going to commit themselves based on comparing photos.

They very much look like Morris Minor 1000 8inch front brake shoes to me. These are available quite cheaply from many sources.
I expect a trailer manufacturer would have used a standard and readily available car part at the time.
