So what are you folks all drinking these days?

So I am in the early stages of taking a early 1950s Morris Minor parts car and turn it into something else...I really love the quality of these little cars...
So I took up drinking Lipton tea the other day...made me feel a little more connected to the history of the old car...
What are you folks drinking when you are tinkering on the ole Morris Minor??

Liptons is about 5/10 as being like 'British Tea.
Having lived in the USA for 3 years, we imported our own 'proper tea' or had to go and buy it at a Brit Expat's Shop.
The nearest available in the USA is 'English Breakfast Tea'.
Not Earl Grey, it's 'black tea', but with added Bergamot oil, a fragrant citrus fruit. It's for drinking black, rather than with milk.

Coffee! Normally put a pot on when I know I’m going to be tinkering and pop in for refills

Tea, any breed as long as it's strong, wet and warm!
After that, a decent Pinot Grigio or proper bitter beer.

Although as I stated earlier coffee is generally my ‘tinkering’ beverage of choice, I do sometimes come over a bit British and have myself a ‘proper cuppa’

I drink either tea, usually Yorkshire Tea, or proper coffee made in a Cafetière (never "Pusser's dust" aka instant coffee). I never drink alcohol whilst working on the car as I make enough mistakes and I am accident prone enough without it.

Oh I used to love Yorkshire tea!
I’ve gone a bit snobby now and will only drink loose leaf out of a pot
I’m just as snobby with coffee, has to be ground, none of this instant coffee nonsense!

At the end of a day of oil, rust and brake dust it’s hard to beat a cold glass of Thatchers traditional flat cider with a piece of Keens extra mature Cheddar! Perhaps some salted crisps if it’s been a successful day.
Whilst working on the car a steady flow of Rave Swiss water decaf coffee. A mug every hour at least.

after going clayshooting the other week, we called at a pub we knew, its under new management,
they had about 7 or 8 ciders, (fruit included,) and a similar number of lagers,
BUT NO BITTER??????
they offered 3 types of pale ale,
what is the world coming to?

I wouldn't be too worried about Brands, but just looking at the Walmart website, you can readily get Taylor's 'Yorkshire Tea', plus various Twinings and Tetley offerings.
All respectable 'British Tea' blenders with history going back into the 1800s.
See which ones you like, they'll probably all taste more genuine that Liptons, which personally I always found a bit short on flavour.

We just bought some "Tetley British Blend"
I kinda like it better than the Lipton...made up a Mason Jar for me to add a little sugar cane to it...I am liking it right now...
