Morris Minor Owners Club

Hi, I'm pretty new to the Minor scene (a moggy virgin!) and was wandering if there were any good websites with modifications guides on them.

This type of thing used to be common on the Ford sites but I can't find any minor ones.

Things I'm interested in are upgrades to telescopic dampers, disc brakes, engine mods etc..
I have seen from digging about on here that you're all an infinitely helpful lot - but I really need instructions right through a job that an idiot can follow.

Are there any good books for this?

Some of the specialist suppliers do a 'manual' that shows all their modifications. Engine mods are well covered by the Mini suppliers and the Mini forums - it's the same engine !

I believe a lot of that stuff is covered in the MMOC technical tips manual (best to check). It won't show all the latest products but you can find out about them by phoning the suppliers for a chat (most of the suppliers advertise in the club Mag so it should be easy to get going).
