1971 minor 1098 alternator fitted
Hi, just noticed my windscreen washer live wire is connected directly to the live on the solenoid.
Is there any where inside the engine bay I can connect it to so its only live when the ignition is on?

Re: windscreen washer conection
My electric screenwash pump is connected to a spare spade, on the fuse block, at the switched live fuse. I also fitted an inline lower rated fuse.

Thanks, I will see if I can find it

As it would be after-market, some past owner has simply just 'gone for it' in their DIY wiring.
As Mervyn says, just connect it to the fuse block where the Green wires are, not the Purple ones.

Yes, I omitted to add, connect to the correct side of the fuse, i.e the output side.
As geoberni writes - green coloured wires.
