Was skimming the BBC Archives and found this short video on the first post-war Motor show:

There's also a slightly longer Pathe film of the '48 Show, from their archive on youtube, which I found a while back, no sound.

Yes, some good shots of the interior.
I have to admit I was never a huge fan of the lowlight when I've seen them in terms of looks, compared to the happy eyed headlight versions, but it does look really impressive in the videos - and stylish.
