Got a yellow and green wire down by the distributor, I cant seem to find a place for it.
Any ideas?

I would think it is the oil filter warning light. Some filter heads and the spin off modification do not have a connection. I have a spinoff oil filter and my wire is dangling loose too.

Green and brown and green and yellow are oil pressure switch and filter blockage switch if fitted.
Which colour to which switch was discussed in depth in this post as many contradictions in manuals.

Thanks for your reply, When I got the car it had extra wires going in all directions for gadgets and leds and stuff
So I stripped the all out and got back to basics how the car should be, I'm trying to get away from all those
electronics nightmares of modern cars.

For me, that is wonderful to hear. It seems it is always about fitting extra stuff and never stripping stuff out to go back to the original simplicity. Bravo!
