I have stripped my frame and doors but before I use the osmo oil would like to treat the wood to a very light ash dye but nobody does ash what coloure would you experts go for light oak maybe pine ?

Be careful. My experience with wood dies on other project have been disappointing. They always appear darker than expected. Ash in naturally a light coloured wood and any dye will darken it somewhat, and it can not be removed without losing a lot of wood. Unless this is what you want to achieve, then take your choice.

Osmo oil will give you a lovely light ash colour - and protect the wood really well - without using any stain on the bare wood.

Osmo oil gives a lovely golden colour on my teak garden furniture. No stain required.

Thanks will be using osmo oil without any stain only trouble I have not managed to bleach all of the dark stains out

I can appreciate that you would like the frame to look perfect but actually a bit of age and imperfection (patina) is attractive too! The main thing is you can be assured that the wood is protected.
