Handbrake sleeve? Recommendations?

The bare metal handbrake in my 1970 Traveller is not too good for my slightly arthritic hands.

Does anyone know of a leather sleeve that will fit over it to make it easier to grip but still allow the release button to work please?

New, second hand, aftermarket?

For example I see a lot of quite chunky s/ h Range Rover leather sleeves on eBay - but would they fit and still allow the release button to work?

Any others been tried successfully?

Thank you.

What type of handbrake lever? Modern (!), with button on the end? Or older type with release lever on top?
(Not that I have a solution for either :-?)

Got some exactly like that - but they don't help.

Thanks for the thought though.

There are plenty of solutions on 'e' bay

Excellent. Thank you.

Wasn't sure what would fit.

There's a black one just below the one you've linked to and further down there are handbrake levers with that sleeve fitted so you can clearly see it doesn't foul the release button.

Thanks again! :tu1:

I have a handbrake lock as well. The grip stops the black paint from chipping off.
