hi everyone. ok i have a question here, then handbrake wasn't working properly so i adjusted the rear brakes and adjusted the nuts near the handbrake, the left side is OK and the handbrake is working but the right side, although i've tightened the nuts the wheel still spins as freely as it can, what can be wrong?, the pick-up has been with me less than a month and the previous owner told me he did new hand brakes cables some time ago

Take the wheel and drum off, get someone to pull the handbrake and see if anything happens.... The cylinder could be seized

The cylinder must be seized - very common problem. They have two parts - outer piston is worked by h-brake, the inner by hydraulics. They can be freed off - but may be better just to fit a new one. beware - the hydraulic connection is whitworth thread - not the normal 3/8"unf. Also keep the handbrake cables very well greased - do the cables LOOK to be new ? Maybe only one cable was done before - check carefully.

Probably a seized cylinder as per Matt/BMC. In more detail, if you can get someone else to pull the handbrake while you view the lever arm you should be able to see whether the cable is moving the lever arm. If it does move it significantly (at least an inch) it must be the cylinder which has seized.

When you remove the rear brake shoes you should be able to easily pull the outer piston out of the cylinder. If it won't come - there's the problem.
