Does anyone know of a supplier of the pin for the quarter light window handle, I have just got some second hand stainless door tops but one of the handles is very loose and the end of the pin is hollow but not really peened over so the catch is not very tight. I'm going to try to punch the end over to tighten this up but suspect the pin will break, so I want a spare before I attempt to do this, I know I can buy another quarter light but I would rather repair this one as it's all part of the fun of ownership. It is, but not sure where you can get one. In the past I have swapped in a second-hand quarterlight when the catch on mine broke off. Getting that pesky blighter in place was also 'all part of the fun of ownership'!

Is the one available a rivet type, it doesn't look threaded in the illustration.

Hi thanks for the information and link, yes that looks like the pin I need, no my pin is not threaded but does look like there would have been room for the anti rattle washer in the exploded diagram, I assume this has broken or rotted off in the past and has caused the handle to become loose. I will be ordering a new pin before I attempt a repair.

I've seem mention in the past, on other forums, where someone said their catch was loose due to the anti-rattle washer having rotted away, and they had fitted a small O ring over the top of the pin and down to the gap.

From the parts manual that I posted the diagram from, I thought it was a nut , but should of read description its two washers.
Sorry for the confusion

When mine became loose I just wrapped a few finds of cotton thread over the end of the spigot. That restricted the lever and held it firm enough for the lever to stay put.
