Mystery trafficator mount

Morning all,

I happened across a box of spares which is great, however within it is a pair of trafficator housings. They are certainly way bigger than Moggie ones - 12 inches end to end - and try as I might, I can’t identify them. There are no pressed model/manufacturer numbers etc.

Any ideas what they are from? Seems a shame not to have them with someone who needs them.

Try google picture search, they could be off an oxford or indeed even a commercial.

Thanks Bill. I’ve been trying that for the past couple of days, and whilst I’ve seen similar-ish, I’ve not hit the bullseye. It’s the size of the things that is the issue. Like you, I was thinking commercial.

I’ll maybe ask at the ManchesterTransport Museum on the way to work.

They are like some of the SF40 housings, but just much bigger.

I think they are from a Wolseley 4/44 or MG ZA Magnette. I'm going from memory but they look very similar. They carry the same Lucas SF80 trafficator as a Morris Minor but the housings are indeed longer.
