Hi Everyone,

I've finally managed to find time to get the body onto the rotisserie. I welded in some angle iron supports to prevent twisting etc. and after a bit of adjustment I finally got everything in place.
It's a bit tight for space but once the body is at 90° it opens up a lot more room to work.
One of the main reasons for putting the car on the rotisserie is because for some very weird reason I get very nauseous when I'm laying flat on my back close to the underside of the car. I'm not sure why it happens but hey ho, one of life's little mysteries and this is a great solution.
Next job is to remove the final few parts from the underside and take a closer look at the rust!

I will be keeping the body in it's normal position for the vast majority of the time, only rotating it when I need to before returning it back to it's normal position, but I'm really looking forward to this Winter now I can carry out more work without turning green!

That is great news and surely a very practical piece of kit. It looks new.

I've been keeping my eye open for a secnd hand rotissierie for years, one that someone has used and no longer needs. New ones are too expensive for me.

So battle will shortly commence then, good luck with it. :tu1:
