GPO vans in a colour supp

Post by woodypup59 »

Apparently last year a UK newspaper (poss the Telegraph) had an article about GPO vans in its glossy magazine.

So presumably this would be a Saturday or Sunday issue.

Has anyone got a copy or more details ?

"M" prefix to serial nos of AddPk assembled GPO Minor van's designated Morris, whilst Ford's had "F".
Further investigations uncovered it was an inside job!!

Thanks. A friend of mine has probably one of the few and most original 1961 GPO telephone engineers mini vans but it would be interesting to see any published articles about them. Especially in colour.
