Riley 1.5 Swivel Pins in a Morris Minor 1000

Hello all. I have just acquired a pair of complete swivel pin assemblies from a Riley 1.5.
I noticed that the steering arms are mounted higher in the swivel pin, when compared to the Minor 1000 version. Q. If I were to use these Riley swivel pins in my Minor 1000, would the steering arms location be a problem, given that they sit higher in the swivel pin?

Yes, they would be incompatible. Steering angles would be wrong and the car will drive horribly :-(

BMC latterly made the swivels with two holes for the steering arm.
If they do then they can be used on a Minor by using the lower steering arm hole.
If they do not - as above - they are totally incompatible with use on a Minor.

The Riley swivel pins are useful to, er, Riley One-point-Five owners, and also Rochdale owners; one regular front suspension system used when building a Rochdale Olympic was the Riley/Wolseley one.
So don't throw them away, will you!
