Gearbox removal

Hi, I am attempting to change the clutch from underneath as using a hoist is not really an option on my gravel driveway. I have encountered a problem in so far as there is ONE bolt that I am having trouble with gaining access to, this is the top bellhousing bolt on the passenger side. Has anyone else come across this, if so what was the solution? Incidentally it is fitted with a 1275 Midget engine and gearbox I don't know if that makes a difference, any helpful advice gratefully received.
Thanks
Simon

can you get to it from under the bonnet?
if not a couple of ratchet extensions and uj will allow you to reach it,

I have always reached it with a flat open ended spanner fed down behind the head from above. A ring should work just as well. Removing the rocker cover and heater outlet gives more room to work.
To use a hoist on a gravel drive, lay down an 8ft x 4ft sheet of 3/4 inch ply. You can make cut outs for your ramps / axle stands.
