indicator stalk

Post by 131XUM »

I read somewhere that you could use Lucas part no 35737 the indicator stalk for head light main beam/dipped beam, is that true?, has anyone made that conversion? How do you go about it? i think it was a fitting for the Wolseley, love to hear if it is possible.

I have read about it too but I forget when or where exactly. As far as I know, all that the Lucas 35737 enables is to flash the head lights momentarily. It does not enable control of dipped/high beam. I prepare to stand corrected though!

Another option is to use a later BL indicator switch, sold by ESM as SWT101A: https://www.morrisminorspares.com/elect ... al-p829879

This incorporates horn, headlight flash and dip switch.

Then you need a new cover a made by the Brian Wood of the Dorset branch of MMOC: https://dorsetmmoc.co.uk/wordpress/special/

I have to say, I have never seen this set up installed.
