Must be getting tired, I put this in cars for sale. [Can one of the moderators cancel it please]
Im thinking of making up a tele kit for front of Minor. Does anyone know what shockers to use? Would Ital fronts do the job?

Hi W,
Not sure about Ital front shocks.
I do know that a lot of the conversion kits use Mini shocks.
Hope that helps.
Cheers

Yes Martin that does help. Seem to remember Rob Thommason advocating 30% uprated Mini shocks for his rear conversion.

I had Mini van shocks on an Owen Burton kit many years ago which I uprated to Mini Spax when I had a bit more money. However ISTR reading somewhere that Mini shocks didn't quite allow enough suspension travel.
I may have the Mini van shocks lying around and you're welcome to them if you are near enough to pick them up. They did about 10 miles then I had the car back in the garage for many years. So if shocks don't deteriorate they may be as good as new.
One thing I learned the hard way is that if you are uprating things, try to use parts from vehicles with huge production runs and ideally with a competition history. E.g. Mini and Escort widgets are widely available as are uprated performasnce widgets. Marina/Ital stuff may be difficult or expensive to get hold of.

Ian - There's lots of kits out there - or you can do it my way ! Mini dampers are definitely too short (at least if you want maximum leverage on the suspension) - and not powerful enough in standard form. Mountings are a bit on the small side too.
