Hello

What would people recommend as the correct thickness of steel plate for various chassis repairs please?
I have 2 and 3mm in stock that I use on my Land Rovers.

I have been using 2mm.

Thank you Quendil, that is what I use mostly but just wanted to check.
Does anyone know what they used originally as I want to repair it flush rather than stuck over the top.
