Please could anyone tell me if this requires replacement? There is a clear lip on the inside circle.
The face shown is the bearing face and it’s from a 948.

If there is a lip I would recommend that you replace the plate.
For general information and regarding camshaft end float:-
The fore and aft movement of the camshaft should be 0.007".
The fore and aft movement of the camshaft can only be adjusted by machining the camshaft gear.
