Not Morris Minor related but I have some ADO 16 ( Austin 1100 ) mud flaps , they’re nice original BMC supplied ones but the emblem has started to fade and crack, I know they’ll never be perfect but I wondered if anyone knows a way of cleaning them up a bit and make them look more presentable, any feedback would be hugely appreciated, cheers

I would try a bit of silicone spray as used to lubricate curtain tracks. It will protect the rubber from further oxidation. Another option is silicone grease but that would need to be applied with a rag which may cause further loss of the surface detail. Incidentally, silicone grease is marvellous stuff on rubber generally, I first came across it on scuba diving regulators. Also cheers up hard plastic such as steering wheels but take all excess off as you don't want a slippery steering wheel.
