Wheel base measurement?

I am in the process of buying a 1969 Morris van and wondered if somebody would be kind enough to
tell me what the measurement is between the tyres so that I can see if it will safely sit on a 4 post lift please.

Sorry, I obviously meant the track measurement, not wheel base.

About 1.28 metres I believe.
You won't have any problems on a ramp. Garages can perform MOT's on them perfectly well

The wheel base as specified in the BMC workshop manual general data section is 86" or 218.44cm.

Do you mean the track, width between wheels as you are asking about putting on a lift. The wheel base length between wheels is irrelevant as 4 post lifts are designed to accommodate a great variance in length.
My saloon fits on the lift but you have to be careful as the track (width) does not leave much room for error.

The track as specified in the BMC wksp manual is:-
Front.............50 5/8"
Rear..............50 5/16"

I did of course mean the track and quickly corrected my mistake in my first post thank you.
My Austin 7 only just fitted on the lift but I was fairly sure the van would be fine but just wanted confirmation,
which I have received from many of you.
This will be the second van I have owned, albeit the first one was back in 1976 during the very hot summer.
That one was on a J plate and at the time was only 5 years old.
Since then I have restored dozens of classic vehicles and over the last 20 odd years have concentrated all my efforts
on old Land Rovers which I still own an example of.
I am sure that when it is delivered this weekend and I get stuck into it I shall be on here continuously asking all
sorts of questions if I'm unable to find the answers in the search areas.
