Using metal glue

Has anybody used a metal glue instead of welding?
I’m thinking of using a 2 pack metal glue to join lower door repair panel rather than weld it.
Any comments welcome, I’m too old to be sensitive.

I don't know much about it in classic car repair but I watch documentary channels quite often and I know that ultra-strong modern glues are used quite a lot on modern cars instead of welding.

Hi,
I've never thought of doing this before but for non structural repairs, for example the repair panels available for the edge of the boot lid or doors, this might be a viable alternative.
No heat related warping and no welding skills required. Just fabrication (in metal) tools / skills to get the join right.
I spotted this (link below), it's cheap I know but that in itself doesn't mean it wouldn't work. However is this the right type of epoxy?
Hopefully someone will spot this on here who has experience of metal bonding.

To be honest I think it’s good but I eventually decided to weld lower repair panel for the doors. I was lacking confidence in maybe being the first person to do it using glue as well as my own capabilities.
