Is there anyone out there who makes, or is able to make, a 1275 badge to replace the 1000 badge on the rear of a Traveller? It would have to be in exactly the same size and font as the 1000 and have similarly spaced projections to fit the holes left by the original.

I have seen 3D printed badges being sold on eB. Being 3D printed, they are not the quality of chromed metal ones, but they probably look good when viewed from a few paces back. I am not saying that the exact badge you want is available--I am just suggesting that 3D printing might be a solution. I think a badge printed using PLA silver silk on a good printer would look good.

I had some 'MORRIS 1380cc' badges printed off using the 3D method.
Unfortunately the person printing and selling them on 'e' bay does not appear to be doing it now so I cannot give you a link.
The finish is not bright more of a dull chrome but is acceptable.
They are attached to the car with a thin strip of double sided sticky tape.
As an alternative you could use the badges off a 1275cc Marina/Ital. See 'e' bay for choice of badges.

Since 3D printing can print in metal, I wonder whether you could then get badge printed and then get it chromium plated - probably cost a small fortune though.

Given the NRE, a small batch might not cost much more than a one-off. A business is born?

Thanks for feed back. Marina/Ital 1275 badges seem to be made of unobtanium. Anyone out there got access to 3D printer willing to give it a go. I am willing to pay reasonable cost and believe there may be a considerable market waiting to be tapped if good results can be obtained. Many 1275 transplants out there.

There are companies that will do it for a reasonable fee.Guess you may need to find them online and send an original I guess for copying.

If you are a FB user, look at the MMOC FB page and one of the administrators, Brian Hawley, had some 1275 badges made recently for his traveller. He did a post about them, so he would be able to advise where they were made.
