Whats that Grommet?

Just found a stack of spares buried right at the back (or front depending on how you look at it) of the spare wheel well in the back of my Traveller. Lots of misc gaskets and loads of these tiny grommets. Any idea what they are for?

They may be valve stem seals but their real place is in the rubbish bin as they are useless at doing their job. One of the reasons BMC/BL ditched them in favour of the top hat seals.

Especially the Wensleydale with the cranberries. A good cheese ruined.
