Will late interior panels fit early cars?

I'm currently exploring all of the options in terms of the interior for Emily ('54 Spilt-screen 2 door), one of which is to replace the tired original panels with better ones from, say, a later 1000. But the question is will they fit?
I appreciate the parcel tray under the dash is different and so there could be problems with the kick panels, but what about the door and rear side panels? Also, would a late rear seat fit?
Any thoughts?
Andy

Hi Andy
All 2door, convertible & traveller front doors are the same so the later door panels would definately fit - I not certain about the other bits off hand but I would have thought so.

Pretty much everything fits. Door panels, seats (front and back), rear side panels.
Don't bin your originals though as they are getting more and more scarce now.

Most bits will fit, but the patterns will be different between early and later cars. Some purists may object, but it's not a problem for every day use.

There's a 1952 Series MM on eBay at the moment with a very late interior fitted...
Hang on...
So it can be done. Oh and here's the link:
