Positive and negative sides to heater switch
Hi all
After dismantling my smiths heater from my 1957 and going to put it back together, I’ve realised that I marked up the positive wire to the switch, but the switch itself doesn’t appear to have any indication of positive and negative.
Can anyone advise please?

Re: Positive and negative sides to heater switch
It does not matter. The switch is just a break in the circuit. For instance, supply wire to switch, other side of switch to motor, then wire from other terminal of motor to earth.

Cheers. Yes 750 km. No motorways. Unleaded 98 easily obtainable. Car did not like it though even with his favourite lead sippin liquor (Tetraboost). A small carb adjustment to the rich side and he ran very well indeed. Thanks for your tips!
Hot. 32 C and he didn’t vaporise fuel although others did. Maybe the Tetraboost or my rising fuel pipe and float heat shields.
Surrey to the Loire on £40 of petrol. Hilarious

Did you miss the, no doubt intended, missing "n" Stephen?
You are even more lucky if there's a French widow in every room!
