Does it come in a tube you slot in, or is it a fill up thing?

That's a good question. My Draper one can use either or cartridge or be loaded from a tub of grease.

The way to fill your Wanner grease gun Farvie is as follows:-

1) Turn the big plastic knob at the end 90 degrees so that the locking arms line up with the slots in the alloy screw-on end cap
2) Pull the knob back as far as it will go against the spring that's holding it in the barrel of the grease gun
3)While still holding the knob against the spring tension, drag the connecting chain that's connecting the knob to the spring into one of the slots in the end cap, which locks it and stops the spring dragging it back into the barrel
4) Unscrew the barrel from the head of the grease gun
5) Push the open end of the barrel down into the can of grease round the dispensing hole that's in the plastic cover on the grease, visible when you've taken the top off the can (shown in the second picture down on this eBay listing)
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/115726435536 ... XSN888CAMY
6)Remove the now filled barrel from the can of grease and screw it back into the grease gun head that you removed earlier
7) Unhook the chain from the head slot, which allows the internal spring to pressurise the grease in the gun ready for use
8) Replace the plastic handle back into the slots of the end cap, locking it with a 90 degree twist
9)Release trapped air from the grease gun by unscrewing the air screws one at a time and separately, starting with the one remotest from the grease gun nozzle, re-tightening each one when a stream of grease starts to emerge

The gun is now charged with grease and ready to use.

Wow thank you so much for the step by step information, I would have had no idea that's how it works.

Many thanks :tu1:

10. When you've finished using it, pull the black handle out to remove the pressure on the grease and lock the chain in the top slot. ( ish)

If you don’t do this you risk the gun slowly oozing grease and finding a mess in the garage.
