What length are the wiper blades on a series 5 with clap hand wipers and bayonet fitting to arms.
Thanks if anyone can help, don't want to order wrong size and car is in storage away from home, so unable to check.

Way too young a vehicle for my personal experience, but I imagine they are the 10" ones (pre Oct 63).

Re: Wiper blade length?
Just a tip about changing windscreen wipers. After taking the old blades off and before fitting the new ones give the windscreen a really deep clean with one of the petrochemical based, abrasive, car glass cleaners e.g Autoglym Glass Polish. This is way superior to any spray type cleaner and it will ensure that your new blades don't immediately pick up grot from the screen. Where the wipers park is often neglected. You'd be amazed how much dirt comes off an apparently "clean" windscreen and you will probably want to repeat the cleaning two or three times when you see what comes off on the cloth.

Thanks Berni, I had seen them but sometimes doubt accuracy of descriptions as the so called "dual personality " was a short run of the minor. But I guess clap hand and curved screen they could be it, I was hoping someone could confirm before orderinggeoberni wrote: ↑Fri May 16, 2025 9:36 am Way too young a vehicle for my personal experience, but I imagine they are the 10" ones (pre Oct 63).

I assume the 11" is for later versions?

I can confirm that the wiper blades, fitted to my '62 saloon (clap hands), are indeed 10" TEX. This is a l.h. arm and a blade.

Dual Personality covers the '63 period of the change over of several things, Wipers, Interiors, Heaters, Indicators and probably many other items I'm not aware of.Bill_qaz wrote: ↑Fri May 16, 2025 10:39 amThanks Berni, I had seen them but sometimes doubt accuracy of descriptions as the so called "dual personality " was a short run of the minor. In this particular case though, it's the switch from Clap Hands feature that changed blade length from 10" to 11".
The original parts book gives you a bit of a headache browsing it, sequentially it covers Wiper systems of 110 deg, 100 deg and 120 deg in that order...many pages of it.

And that's only for the 1000 after 1956!
