I'm trying to identify the BL part No. WFM1138 which is the manifold fitted to the 1275cc engine in my van. The engine appears to be an A+ from an Ital, but the manifold is not from an Ital.
Reason for the query is that I need to fabricate a new exhaust and the old flange is beyond repair. Just wondering if I can identify the origin of the manifold if it will help find a new flange - it's a flat plate, held on by three bolts to the manifold and has 2 x complex curved, cast outlet pipes.
Alternatively, will the Maniflow manifold which ESM sell fit an A+ engine?
Thanks,
John Johnston

Re: MM van exhaust
I did a quick search on the part number and one link said it is a Mk1 MG Metro turbo elbow? No idea whether that is correct though.

Re: MM van exhaust
The Maniflow LCB manifold will fit the 'A' Plus engine without any problems.

The manufacture of a exhaust for your van will be much easier with the Maniflow LCB exhaust manifold.
I would suggest that you also fit a alloy manifold to suit the carb fitted which should be a SU HS4 (1 1/2" bore).

The above inlet manifold could be used with a larger carb if required at a later date.
It will also accommodate a SU H4 (1 1/2" bore) where the two mounting studs required are fitted vertically.
