Heated rear screen issue
I have a heated rear screen; unfortunately one of the spade terminals has detached from the screen. I can't see a way of reattaching using the original method, which seems to be solder. At the back of my mind is an adhesive with conductive properties, maybe specially developed for just this issue. Anybody with any experience?

No personal experience on a car, but I've used some in other applications at work years ago..
Search 'conductive glue for rear defroster' and several options come up.

Re: Heated rear screen issue
Is this a glass heated screen or a plastic stick-on element?

Just checked mine and if you're confident with a soldering iron , pre tinned female spade terminal and a pair of fine nosed pliars should do the job...

Re: Heated rear screen issue
Thanks John; I should be OK with that. Low melting point solder, warm the screen carefully with a fan heater, wire-wool the existing solder points, and let the "new" tag do the melting. I will have to fabricate a tag, but as I have plenty of solder-on electrical fittings I am sure that I can do something. Any soldering necessary for recreating the tag I will use high melting point solder.
