Under the spreading chestnut tree.
The motor sits on stands;
the gearbox out in pieces lay,
The owner wrings his hands.
The sky a threatening purple glooms;
Rain begins to fall;
The sun is fading fast;
The owner starts to bawl.
Herindoors is grumbling below her breath,
The shopping is getting soaked;
The twins are wondering when's suppertime
and the owner is past provoked.
What light breaks through the mist and gloom?
AH! Someone to save the day!
Here comes the answer to his prayer;
