I’ve got a garage/shed alarm triggered by a sensor, it makes a loud noise, I’ve been wondering if there is a way of using this noise to activate a nearby phone, which in turn could call my phone to let me know of an intruder ? Can sound waves be harnessed somehow to do this, via a microphone, perhaps ? I can extend two wires from the phone to activate the speed dial function for the number to be called.
Maybe a bit too far fetched ?
Can’t be done ?

Can't you buy sensors that call you if triggered? It might be an easier solution.
Keep the noisy one to scare the life of them.
