Morris Minor mug

Post by Mr Spigot »

Does anyone else have one of these mugs from the late 1980s? I think MMOC sold them. I had two but one broke and this one has been through the dishwasher thousands of times and is showing its age. Time for a relaunch? Would be good to cover the MM and Series2 models as well.

Are you in marketing? What perfect timing to be asking. I did a draft of specifications needed, consulted with others to verify and passed to the Club's Merchandise Manager (AKA my wife) who has been preparing the final layout. The mugs should be available shortly. A revised design with all the information you need, but you will have to supply your own tea or coffee :D .

In answer to Mr Spigot's question, yes.
No dishwasher here - handwash only. Condition is as good as the day bought way back when from the MMOC.

I'm so glad I mentioned it!! Timing is pure coincidence, but just shows the damage a dishwasher does! Hopefully the new ones will be dishwasher safe?

As with "Mervin", hand washing is best.
My mugs always look good, right up till the day I drop them........
Oh, well...... :-(

Best wishes,
