Morris Minor Owners Club

This Morris Minor came to us last summer. I've had Minors before but that was about 40 years ago and at the time I rarely bothered to look under the bonnet. I'm picking my way through things and seem to have arrived at the point where I have a functioning and reliable car...touch wood!

I just wonder. Does anyone remember the car or indeed Veronica? The lettering was carefully masked prior to a respray so won't come off without respraying the lid. I can live with it but have little in the way of an answer when asked by the curious!

Veronica is obviously an alias, so you may have problems finding her.

AKA Also Known As Veronica.
I have Doris lettered on mine, but Veronica Minor is a good name.

Probably the name given to the car, rather than the owner's name.

Wreckless Eric wrote a song about her in the late 1970's:

Perhaps he regretted selling her?
