Halfords voucher

I see in the flyer that came with the current edition of Minor Matters, that Halfords give MMOC members a 7% discount. It says "...using downloadable voucher". However, there was no link shown in the flyer and I cannot find anything about it on the Halfords website.
Any clues on how we get it?

I haven't received my copy of Minor Matters yet but I can't find any details of this discount in the MMOC members area of the club website or on the Halfords website.

If you have a Blue Light Card or Defence Discount Card there is 8% off at Halfords or 20% off "selected worship and tools".

Having looked at the Halfords website there is a sale on tools at the moment of up to 50% off which is a much bigger discount than anything else.

I strongly suspect that there is a disconnect between the Minor Matters Membership Booklet and the Club website Members Area.

Both feature 10 companies/organisations offering discounts, but not the same 10....(9 are the same  )

With a bit of luck the situation will be sorted out in the coming days.

If desperately in need of a Halfords Discount, try emailing the Club Office and see what they say.

Thanks. I am not in urgent need, but it will come in handy when I do get a few things from Halfords occasionally. I await developments....

+1. I have looked everywhere for the "downloadable link" to no avail!

My friend booked his Golf into Halfords over Christmas because no-where else was available.
The problem was a misfire.
Halfords changed the spark plugs, and then took it for a test drive. They then took it upon themselves to change a front calliper, both discs and all the pads.

Total bill....over £800.
Don't go there.

PS they are also guilty of selling illegal E scooters to people and telling them that they can ride them anywhere.

Halfords don't recognise my Minor, whether that is because it's a 1955 Series II, or because it has an Age Related Registration issued in 1999, I have no idea. Whatever the reason, I don't care. They have become more of a Bicycle Shop that sells 'other stuff' as far as I'm concerned.

In fairness to them though, several other Car Parts retailers also give the same 'Invalid Reg' response, including Euro Car Parts and GSF....

I have found one online generic parts search engine [carparts4less] that thinks Basil's Reg is a 1955 Morris :-? Ital

I occasionally use Halfords for basic stuff like car cleaning products, de-icer, screen wash etc. I have heard good things about Halfords replacing tools with a lifetime guarantee without quibble but there isn't much that is of use for our old cars there. The last time I was in there was to buy a UK plate, reflective vests and a warning triangle for the Morris prior to a trip to Germany.
