US resale market

Hello all!
I’m new to the forum and the Miner world, in general. I’ve recently been looking into buying one that I came across for sale. I am American military stationed in the UK. This means I would have the lovely benefit of being able to ship it to the states for free whenever we move back.
I’m curious if anyone in here has any sense of how the resale market there compares to here. I’m wondering if one might sell for more there given how much rarer they are and how most sellers would have to pay fees to import one.

In the last few days I read a post on here (unsure how to find it now) on Minors never quite taking off and being successful in the States. If that were true, would this impact resale value/return on Investment?

I'll support that opinion.

Sharing of irrelevant information appertaining to US Military perks of overseas service. Whilst being a little vague about the actual vehicle they are considering, Saloon, Traveller, LCV??...

If they are genuine, and not an AI Bot, let them come back and explain themselves more.

I don't think anyone who knows classic cars buys a Minor as an Investment...If they do, they soon find out otherwise.

Bot or not, writing "Miner" when even the title of the forum page shows the correct spelling is poor form for a military man.
I do think it might be worthwhile picking one up and having it shipped for free to the US. 5k will get you a decent car that could be sold for around double over the pond. Fill it up with spare parts before you leave and you could make a few pennies on them too.

Assuming this is a legitimate post, a quick look at the Morris Minor registry of North America sites would give US values and one could compare with values here and then decide if it were worth it or not.
