Hello,
Can others recommend Insurance companies to me that will accept my Morris Traveller as my only vehicle (if I don’t own, or have access, to a modern car)
Kind regards.

Classic Line. Fair prices, you can talk to humans and there is a really good agreed value scheme. https://www.classiclineinsurance.co.uk

Let us know how you get on, Alfie. I and others on here have had problems in the past insuring a Minor as our only vehicle. The MMOC is aware of this issue and in discussion with the insurance market about it, so your experience may be valuable information to them.
I have contacted the club myself about this problem, particularly as the club's aims include this statement: The MMOC exists to unite these people who have a fondness of these loveable jellymoulds, and those people who still use them as everyday transport.

Hello again,
Thank you for the replies upto now. I realised that I omitted to say that I also require part time commuting to work (rather than just cover for social, domestic and pleasure use) - which seems to compound the problem alongside not having a modern car.
Would be good to hear from others in similar situation….
Kind regards.

Footman James cover everything you're asking for and are one of the clubs discount insurers. I'd also recommend getting Agreed Value on the policy.

Hello,
Following a lengthy telephone conversation with Footman James, I was informed that they could NOT offer me insurance cover for a single Classic car if - I did not personally have insurance for another vehicle (modern or classic) or named driver on a policyholder living at my same address.
Looking forward to hear others experiences…….
Kind regards

Hello yet again !,
Some success, just got off the phone to Classicline Insurance (as recommended from an earlier reply - thankyou!).
They will offer cover (though Axa) with no other vehicle and occasional commuting - but at £415.
(just for others interest, that on a 1968 Traveller, no mods, 3000 miles a year, value of £8000 and East Manchester postcode)

Interesting to hear from others experience…..
Kind regards.

The irony is that FJ would have provided the cover through Axa (all I can say is they had no problem in the past with me as a sole car driver).

As to your new quote, if you manage to get an insurer to accept your being in the MMOC you'd probably (based on my own experiences with FJ/Axa admittedly) bring that down by 25-50% (did you tell them you were a club member when you got the quote?).
