All rubber door surround seal

Post by Bill_qaz »

Has anyone fitted the newer all rubber door seal sold by ESM that don't require clips as opposed the woven coloured type requiring clips? Are there any iknown ssues
There is a significant price difference + clips to keep the colour coded (which are now falling appart) rather than all black rubber type.

Yes. Much easier to fit, looks fine, and seals well. Downside: Most of it stays perfectly in place, but the curve round the lock striker plate seems to come adrift with great regularity. I have tried all sorts of adhesives, but none seem to have any lasting effect.

Is it possible to use the clip made for the other type to secure?
