Does anyone know what the rubber grommets are on the valance of my front bumper? I’ve attached a picture

They are not factory fitted and possibly related to the fitment of a badge bar and/or spotlights.

I was going to say the same esp as you have two holes close together, one for lamp fitting the other for wiring.

My guess, same as the others.
I've never liked Badge Bars partially for that reason.
With a little forethought, lamps can be mounted without making holes in the valance, simply by mounting to the Bumper Mounting Bar behind.

Lamps are also far steadier if mounted to the Bumper Mounting Bar; on the Valance they wobble around due to lack of substantial support.

I welded a support to the bumper bracket for spotlights although still drilled through the fibreglass valance. Easily filled if I had change of mind

That's one way to do it. :tu1:
Basil's Bell and Spotlight are on brackets from behind the valance.

My lamps have flat square mounting bases so sat better directly on valance and would of been too high on over the top brackets. They were a fleabay purchase at the right price but a bit larger than expected :D but the bug eye look has grown on me.

Like Bill has done, I have two foglights secured to the STEEL valance. Square bases too, but I also made and fitted two steel flat bar strengtheners. No movement whatsoever. I also committed the sin of fitting a badge bar years ago. Drilling the holes for the lights was scary to ensure they fitted perfectly between the badge bar and overiders.
