Morris Minor Owners Club

I think quite a few are on the other site (https://morrisminorowners.co.uk/) but I can't seem to log in anymore. It seems to now involve Tapatalk, which looks to be programmed by the village idiot and I can't log into that. My name and password are the same for both forums. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

What's the idea of another forum as well as faceache isn't this just diluting the chat and info over several platforms?

The other forum has been going for a long time and is independent of MMOC, which I think has something to do with it. I have finally managed to get to a page, where I was able to send a request for help.

As to social media, I am not interested in posting pictures of my breakfast and am not on any of the now numerous platforms (I'd rather spill some paint and watch it dry). I have heard of and am puzzled by the notion of "Influencers", who seem to be self styled . There must be a lot of gullible people if they take notice of them.

There's several Minor Forums, I don't think I'm in the one being referred to in this Post...
But I am in one that is principally USA/Canada organised, more as an observer.... I've only posted there 7 times in 5 years
It's nice to see what's happening in other areas, rather than have a narrow aspect and be inward looking.
I'm not biased enough to think that the MMOC is entitled to be the only provider of Minor Owner interaction.

I didn't mean it in the way of mmoc as only forum I just find if the chat is spread over many forums then personally I can't be bothered loging in and out of several but perhaps that's just me.

I sometimes notice the exact same post in several Forums/FB Groups.
It can get a bit confusing as to which one I might have answered in...

Basically it was set up many years ago when a small group of people got fed up with the moderation rules of the forum set by the MMOC committee. They moaned at admin and moderators but didn't want to talk to the committee about it - so they spent the effort they could have used to set up their own offshoot - with lots of ability to snipe this way (I was a mod at the time).

That's exactly how I see it. I dumped faceache after the Cambridge Analytica scandal but I think I was in a minority of people who believe that large multinational organisations should not sell personal data without consent. I'd like to use it again and read what the MM groups are like but it doesn't like it when i use dodgy details to register a new account.

I registered on all the MM forums I could find but I only post on here. The German forum has only just been updated but sadly still has no forum.
