Please can somebody recommend the best protection to use on bodywork to prevent corrosion especially for the winter, my moggy is garaged but I was wondering if there is a miracle product out there that helps protect against corrosion

One tip is never put the car in the garage wet.

As above - plus keep the car bodywork clean and use a good wax (carnauba wax is good, found in many products) so that water just 'beads off' and runs off the bodywork. Don't forget the chrome parts as well.

Never used it myself but I have heard some good things about ACF50.

ACF50 is fantastic but not cheap. Originally developed for use in the aviation sector. I have used it for years on motorbike engines, wheels and exposed metalwork. Also on my vintage Colnago steel bike. No rust despite it being Italian steel! A quick spray and wipe works well after a wash.

I have used it on the Midget to protect the carbs, locks and chrome.

Also available is ACF corrosion block grease (Blue grease) I’m a big fan of this for over winter in all the usual places. I note it’s available on Amazon these days so must be more popular than in years gone by when it was mainly custom bike shops and specialist suppliers.

If you want something that makes water 'bead off', for the first time ever I recently brought a spray bottle of Car Plan Demon Shine, only as I saw it going cheap at an autojumble stall....
It's like Rain-X for bodywork (don't use Demon Shine on glass, there's a Warning about that on the container ).

it says 'up to 10 shines' on the container, but given how little I used on the Minor, I recon that's more like 30+ shines for one of our cars.
