Then and Now.......35 years of ownership

I have been looking through old pictures. Then and now. The old pictures are 1995 I think (from the tax disc). I had owned the Morris for 6 years by then. The new photo is from the August 2024 Edenbridge and Oxted show. 35 years of ownership now. Poor old "Xavier" is very shabby these days but he plods on!

Yes it did have 11,092 miles on the clock back then!

Yes other than a few tweaks completely standard. Original engine. Still positive earth with dynamo. Drum brakes all round, no servo, no additional gauges, no radio. Modern tweaks are: inertia real seatbelts (old belts wore out), rear seat belts (to attach the dog’s harness), LED headlights, electronic SU fuel pump, an RB106 voltage regulator with electronic internals, electronic ignition. I could very easily put the car back to absolutely standard if I wanted to.
