Insurance Policy

Hi
I’m new to the group and I am just in the process of purchasing a Moggy, can anyone recommend an insurance company to go with I know there are 1000s out there but any recommendations would be grateful

What is good for one maybe is not for others, as you probably know. That’s why all Minor owners pay different prices, where you live and many other factors come into it, age etc.
If you were a club member you could try Footman James, other than that you need to phone round. Adrian Flux is one you might try.

I find Footman James very good to work with , they do a multiple vehicle policy .
On mine I have 2 Morris Minors and a Land Rover allowed a combined annual mileage of 5K at a very reasonable cost .All on agreed valuation .

No doubt it will depend on what the intended use for the car is.
Daily use probably go for one of those recommended or more "upmarket".
My car is only used when the weather and roads are dry. Mainly a couple of days a week. As a result I just opt for the cheapest! My present policy premium is £57/annum.
Of course that might indicate how good or bad they are in the event of a claim.

Depends on your use though, if it's just a weekend thing, you might get away with something cheaper like Classic Line. My policy runs about £57 a year, but I barely take mine out unless the roads are dry.

It’s clever how it picks out things previously mentioned and writes them in a similar but different way. I’d like to come back in a couple of hundred years just for a glimpse, and then get the hell out of it again !

How amazing that QuantumNomad's annual policy total is exactly the same as olonas's and only uses the car in the dry...wow that is a coincidence
Looking at these AI forum response generators there is a small amount of human input to the answer, in this case it is (enter insurance company name)

Must use the same insurer as me.
Oh to be a Nomad and a member of a people that travels from place to place to find fresh pasture for its animals and has no permanent home (I stole that definition).
Which would make it rather difficult to take out insurance.

When I joined the club I was put onto footman James straight away. The price of £126 a year was I thought very competitive. Up to you of course,but it was all straight forward.
