Heater Valve

Hi Guy's and Gal's out there in Moggie land could anyone try and clear up a problem I have I won an heater valve off Ebay and it was listed as for Morris
MG Etc when it came it was nothing like the original which had corroded away gone to the moggie god, anyway the part number is FHW 1311/08 329
Any help would be helpful

Heater valves ( early tap type or later cable-operated) are available from East Sussex Minors.
Tap type: 88G588 (Moss) HTR105A (ESM)
Cable operated: JJC10018 (Moss) HTR105 (ESM)
I don't know what it is that you have bought. A photograph would be very helpful.

Always check the photos. Just a quick check of the basic part number FHW1311.....

I think Smiths were the original manufacturers of the late type heater valves. They made LOTS of similar but different valves for other car makers rather like that Geoberni has found. Maybe that is what you've bought? Send it back to the seller if it isn't what he advertised. Nobody here can help you much without a photo
