Indeed there is good Sir. I am the Joint Registrar for the Dual Personality Register. We have a very active Facebook group under 'Dual Personality Minors' and there is a website : https://www.dualpersonalitymorrisminors.co.uk/

You can always PM me if you wish to.....as indeed can anyone else.

Just a bit of background :- Completely by accident, I bought a DP Moggy (I didn't buy it accidentally - I simply didn't know that I'd bought a DP vehicle :D ) For some considerable time I tried to contact the then registrar but had no joy. Even the club HQ got involved and one Mr Newell no less! Still no meaningful response.

I then made the fatal mistake of 'expressing an interest' as to what would be involved in running a register. The next thing you know.......well, you can guess! :D Luckily for me, at about the same time, one other member also made a tentative enquiry and here we are as joint registrars!

Memo to self: Keep trap shut next time! :D :D

We even ended up manning a DPR stand at this year's National at Gaydon. To be fair, I think we've both enjoyed getting involved and meeting some great people through the DPR.

Because we had no details whatsoever of who or what vehicles were on the old register, we had to literally start from scratch. There are currently 64 Moggies on the register (a mix of saloons, travellers, LCVs) with several other known ones still to apply. It's impossible to know how many still survive but as I trawl through some of the F/b groups and auction/sale sites, it's clear there are many many more still out there.

The register itself is as secure as we can reasonably make it. Nothing more than an XL spreadsheet really but it is password protected and accessible only to the 2 registrars. Data security is a high priority so even the MMOC do not have any information and no details of any register member or their vehicle will ever be released to anyone else without an owner's express permission. Occasionally, I publish, via Facebook, a general summary of the numbers and make-up of the register i.e. vehicle types, county/country locations etc.

The latest initiative of the DPR, is that for anyone who registers their Moggy, you can ask for and will be give an exclusive 'DPR' windscreen sticker - completely free, including postage. What's not to like?
