Distributor wire negative earth?
1971 Traveller. The car has been converted to Negative earth. Which terminal on the coil does the distributor wire fit to, positive or negative? Thanks

Simple answer, the opposite one to the one shown in the Wiring Diagrams.....

'morris63' - If your car is negative earth, then the wire from the ignition feed goes to +ive coil terminal and the -ive coil terminal takes the wire which goes to the distributor, where the current will go to earth via the points.
