SU HS2 Carburettor

Hi everyone,
I stripped and revamped the engine compartment of my Traveller a couple of years ago. Since moved house and haven't worked on it for the past couple of years.
I've now wired everything up in preparation for starting it up with a now unleaded cylinder head.
I labelled-up all the electrical connections as well as taking photo's but, somehow during our house move, I've managed to mislay all the details about the cable connections to the HS2 carburettor. I'm now completely stumped!
Is there anyone out there who can provide some detailed photo's of the cables attached to the carb, please?
Thanks,
Steve

Do you not have a workshop manual?
All the details you require are in there.
The two cables connected to the HS2 carb are the throttle cable and the choke cable.

Hello,
yes I have several workshop manuals. All of them show pretty good details about the HS2 carburettor itself, but none of them show the cable connections. I've also trawled Youtube attempting to find the information I need, but without success.
What I need are the actual cable connections, location of return spring, etc, in detail.
Regards,
Steve

It’s relatively straight forward, attachment shows where the throttle cable goes and where the choke cable goes. The return spring goes with the throttle.

Here is a link to the MOSS web site and a exploded view of the SU carb with choke and throttle cable connections
https://www.moss-europe.co.uk/en-gb/eng ... 20--05--01
Whilst no specific to HS2 the R/H carb in the link illustration has the parts listed you need. The choke cable carb fastening is different but the parts listed are right for a HS2. They appear to have used a stock SU H2 carb body for the illustration.
The Mini section of the MOSS web site has the HS2 which can be used for reference.

I'm confused as to why this is in 'Electrical'; I thought it was going to be about the Carburettor Heater 'cables'

Thanks Les,
I've managed to sort it now. The actual photo was very helpful.
